Why We Built This Site
Michigan gives the public real access to court and agency records, and the access is not the hard part. The hard part is knowing which court holds a case in a county with ten District Courts, a Circuit Court, a Friend of the Court, and twenty-three police agencies that submit charging requests. A reader who calls the wrong office loses a day and sometimes misses a court date.
We gathered the official routes in one place and wrote them in plain language. Court and sheriff pages change, so every page points back to the office that controls the answer rather than asking anyone to take our word for a case status.
What You Will Find Here
Each page describes a specific part of the warrant process in Macomb County: how a search works across the courts, what an active or bench warrant means, how a traffic or city citation becomes a court warrant, and how the county's most wanted programs and tip lines are organized. The pages name real offices, published hours, payment routes, and record request channels.
Where a court publishes a walk-in arraignment window or a surrender schedule, that detail appears with the court that sets it. Where the county has no online warrant list, the pages say so and give the fallback chain instead: the issuing court clerk, a written records request, the jail or bond line, and the in-person routes.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We are not a court, a sheriff's office, a police department, or any other government office, and we have no connection to the agencies named on these pages.
That means a few limits apply:
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, and we cannot tell you that a case is clear.
- We cannot recall, quash, or clear a warrant, because only the issuing court can do that.
- We do not hold case files, police reports, or booking records, and we cannot release them.
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how to answer a charge.
Only the court that issued the process can confirm its status, and only the sheriff's office or jail can answer a custody or bond question.
Search Partners
Some pages carry a search box supplied by a third-party provider. Those companies run their own services under their own terms, and any results they return come from them rather than from this site. We do not control their pricing, coverage, or accuracy.
Treat a commercial search result as a starting point at best. Confirm anything that matters with the Macomb County court or agency that holds the record.
